This section has been added to share with all the readers out there some of the people and organisations who give their time and energy to give to others. Whether it’s a club, group or a charity they all do a wonderful job in making a difference in other peoples lifes.
Many are clubs that arrange tournaments between others on local or international levels or teach other people a new sport on a social level. The sports that are avaliable these days are endless with the likes of skiing, water skiiing, golf and any sport you can name. Some are groups who arrange adventures, holidays or just gathering for wheelchair bound people.
Next is the charities,these group of people who dedicate hours and hours to raise money as well as awareness for spinal cord injuries and the research side that make the effort to understand the disibilities and find cures or ways to make life better.
Below is a list and a short write up of the clubs, groups, charities or research or are worth a mention.

Power Racing Wheelchair Association - Club / Group
Racing ranges from asphalt to off road, and may also incorporate different obstacles such as bump jumps, whoops, and table tops. Currently they are doing races in the chicago area and are in the process expandingto more area in the future WEBSITE :Power Racing Wheelchair Association
International Wheelchair Aviators - Club / Group
The IWA organization for short began in 1972 as just a once a monthly “fly to lunch” group of four paraplegic aviators,The Southern California Wheelchair Aviators (SCWA) was started by Bill Blackwood, Ed Hays, Dan Rodewald, and Neil Adler. it has developed into a worldwide group of disabled and able bodied pilots interested in aviation and flying. Welcome to Extreme Chairing, was created for all people who enjoy participating in action adventure sports. Extreme Chairing is is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that raises money and awareness for spinal cord injury research. Extreme Chairing uses the money to help people with high level injuries and limited mobility get involved in adventure sports. WEBSITE: Extreme Chairing
Wheelchair Hunting and Fishing
Hunting and fishing is popular sport for men and women alike, and until recently access to these sports for disabled persons had been difficult if not impossible due to the remote locations involved.
